My first & I'm hoping not my last blog post of all time!

I'm one that usually has never enjoyed writing, because of the annoying papers that have been due since I was in Jr. High. Most of the papers I've written in my life have been on the NBA or some other part of basketball! My attitude has changed over the past few years, but I still have one problem! The problem I have is I'm not very consistent. I set a goal to write in my journal every night, but that fades out after a few days. Or I try to write letters to missionaries or recent converts from my mission and that only lasted a few weeks. I hope I can change that with blogging! There are the things that have changed my attitude. My mission gave me a great oppurtunity to appreciate the art of writing as I was able to share the joys and the hardships in my weekly letter home! Writing became something I enjoyed as I was able to express my feelings and experiences. I have also been surrounded by a few people the last little while who have given me the desire to become a more consistent writer. I never thought I would be one to care for the tecniquies of grammar and writing, but I have a great desire to conquer my weakness in this area. I'm also being forced by my job as a sports writer for the Utah Jazz to have a writers knack. I'm committed to becoming a consistent blogger and hope this isn't the last.
